Mike Laster

While Mike Laster received his Real Estate Sales Agent License in 2019, he comes to the practice of real estate sales with thirty years of experience in the practice of real estate law.  As a licensed Texas attorney, Mike’s career has included governmental, private law firm and non-profit real estate experience.

He has been privileged to serve as a Senior Assistant Attorney for the City of Houston and Harris County, Texas. In those capacities he has worked directly with governmental agencies involved in real estate planning and development and affordable housing. In the private practice of law, he has worked directly with title companies and lenders to facilitate real estate closings. 

Mike has also been actively engaged in the community.  He has served as President and long-time Board Member for the 6800 residential properties of the Sharpstown Civic Association.  Additionally, Mike has been the Chairman and Board Member of the Sharpstown Tax Increment Re-Investment Zone and a founding Board Member of the Sharpstown Management District.  From 2012 through 2019, Mike served as the first Houston City Council Member for the newly created District J in Southwest Houston.
